Rated 4 out of 5 by file gauge The top plate angle and drag depth are pretty self explanatory. The side plate angle is what has me puzzled. I have sighted this with a brand new chain according to the chain spec and still don't really understand how to read the angle on the saw. I am guessing that four out of five ain't bad.1. top plate angle (check#2. drag depth #check#3. bar groove depth #check#4. bar groove cleaner #check#5. side plate angle reading # x ) March 4, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs instructions I got this tool as part of a Stihl sharpening kit. The problem is that are no instructions for how to use it. In particular, I'd like to know how raker depth gauge is supposed to be used. January 14, 2015
